Supporting lifelong learning at the Wescott Library

OUR MISSION

Every book sold helps the Wescott Branch grow.

The Friends of the Wescott Library is dedicated to assisting the Wescott Branch of the Dakota County Library System in its mission to support lifelong learning for county residents of all ages.

OUR HISTORY

Volunteers, since 1982.

The Friends of the Wescott Library was formed on September 27, 1982 — a non-profit group of volunteers who believe in the contribution that libraries make to our community.

The Wescott Library opened in 1983 and has since undergone a rapid increase in the number of items in the collection and the number of services provided.
